• Switching Logic: Normally Open
• Contact Type: Single Pole Single Throw
• Power: 5 Watts
• Voltage: 24 VDC
• Switching Current: 10mA to 40mA
• Breakdown Voltage: 250 Volts
• Ambient Temperature: -10 to 60°C (14°F to 140°F)
• Indicator: Red LED
• 2-wire Flying Lead Cable: 39 in.
• Enclosure Rating: IEC Standard IP67
• DC Polarity: Positif (brown) Negatif (blue)
• Position sensor allowing detection of the cylinder position.
• Clamp bands included and pre-sized with each switch for easy installation.
• LED indicator light (Light Emitting Diode)
• Designed for use with 24 VDC applications
HOW IT WORKS
The switching mechanism is comprised of two ferromagnetic blades, separated by only a few microns. When a magnet approaches these blades, the two blades pull toward one another. Once touching, the blades close the normally open (NO) contacts, allowing electricity to flow.
• All switches are pretested at the manufacturer.
• The LED Switches require a minimum current flow of 10mA for LED illumination.
• In order to avoid premature contact deterioration, always operate within switch specifications listed below.
• Switch life can be maximized by implementing protection circuits.
• The use of an ohmmeter is recommended whenever field-testing is required.
• Do not use an incandescent light bulb or any other testing device which may subject the switches to inrush loads beyond their ratings.
• Load must not exceed 5-Watt switch rating.
• Do not exceed 2.5 in.-lbs tightening torque on lock nut.
• Polarity must be observed in DC applications.
