• Maximum Airflow Capacity: 25 SCFM
• At 125 PSI, 60 °C inlet conditions, 35 °C ambient and at 10 °C outlet pressure dew point. For all other conditions, please contact TOPRING to select the proper model.
• Compressor Power: 5 HP
• Inlet/Outlet: 1/2 (M) NPT
• Power Supply: 115V/1 phase/60 Hz
• Dimensions: Depth 38 cm, Height 46 cm, Length 43 cm
• Maximum Inlet Temperature: 70 °C
• Working Pressure: 0 to 232 PSI
• Dew Point: 10 °C
• Refrigerant: R134a
Material(s):
• Corrosion-resistant steel with powder coated finish
• Handles very high inlet temperatures
• Energy efficient and low operating costs
• R13a environmentally friendly refrigerant
• High efficiency, air-cooled, oversized refrigerant condenser for high ambient temperature
• Automatic expansion valve to ensure stable dew point performance, even when the ambient conditions change
• Automatic solenoid condensazte drain with a fully adjustable and extremely reliable timer
• 1.8 m electrical cord for quick and easy installation
• Equipped with a stainless steel heat exchanger, the TOPRING’s high temperature refrigerant dryers are specifically designed to be used with reciprocating (piston) compressors ranging from 5 to 25 HP
• The high temperature air from the compressor can be directed to the refrigerant dryer while achieving industry standard 10°C dew point
• They work efficiently and save money on the energy bill
HOW IT WORKS
The ambient air that is sucked in by the compressor contains a substantial amount of water vapor. The compression thus exerted increases the volume of water for a given volume of air. This process also increases the air temperature, which increases the ability of the air to retain water as vapors. While the compressed air, charged with moisture, circulates in the piping system, it cools the condensed water vapor which liquefies.
Refrigerated air dryers are designed to prevent the occurrence of all these problems. Drying by refrigeration is the most efficient technology for drying compressed air. The compressed air is cooled, so that the water vapor in the air condenses inside the dryer and can be purged.
INSTALLATION TIP
It is recommended to use a filter before the dryer to protect it from contaminants and condensates and increase the service life of internal components of the dryer
EXTENDED WARRANTY
Some dryers (models 49.563 to 49.583) already include the filter. Using the recommended TOPDRY air filter from Series 53 (purchased simultaneously with the air dryer) extends the warranty to 2 years.
